All of us experience stress in our daily lives. The combined effects of stressors can negatively impact both our immediate and long-term health. Research has found that during periods of stress immune and bodily functions are surpressed and that a lot of energy is used by the body in reaction to stress. Continued stress can lead to a depletion of energy and other resources making it difficult to recover physically and emotionally.

Acupuncture is a holistic therapy which can be used to treat a broad range of conditions and is a treatment which encourages the patient's body to heal itself. Topics in this lecture will include:

Stages of Stress & Their Impact
Positive and Negative Stress
Use of Acupuncture to Reduce Stress

Included with the lecture is a 20-minute acupuncture session so that you may experience the stress-reduction power of this ancient science.
